FMLA
Rules
Most employers are required to offer their eligible
employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid FMLA leave
per 12-month period. This leave is intended to
be used for family or medical purposes. If two
spouses work for the same employer, their combined
FMLA leave entitlement is only 12 weeks.
Employees will be eligible for FMLA leave in
the TimeForce II system if they:
- Have worked for the employer for at least
12 months (non-consecutive)
- Have worked a minimum of 1250 hours in
the past 12 months
A new absence code that is dedicated for
use with FMLA absences must be created in the
system.
The "Reports" section of the program
allows you to view and print information on qualified
employees and used FMLA absence hours.
