Supervisor User Access Rights

A "Supervisor" user is allowed the following levels of access to the TimeForce II system:

Main Category: Employee

Sub Category: Manage Employee

  • Manage Employee Information: The user has "View Only" access to his or her own employee information, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.
  • Manage Error Monitoring: The user has "View Only" access to his or her own Error Monitoring settings, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.
  • Inactive Employee View: The user can view employees assigned to them with a status of "Inactive" in the system.
  • Social Security Number: The user can view his or her own Social Security Number, as well as the SSN of their assigned employees.

Sub Category: Manage Pay Policies

  • Manage Pay Policies: The user has "View Only" access to his or her assigned Pay Policies, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.

Sub Category: Manage Position and Salary

  • Manage Position and Salary: The user has "View Only" access to his or her own Position and Salary information, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.

Sub Category: Manage Employee Accruals

  • Manage Employee Accruals: The user has "View Only" access to their own Accrual information, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.

Sub Category: Manage Employee Schedule

  • Manage Employee Schedule: The user has "View Only" access to his or her own schedule in the system, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees' schedules

Sub Category: Manage Disciplinary Scales

  • Manage Employee Disciplinary Scales: The user has "View Only" access to their own Disciplinary Scales in the system, with "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.

  • Pay Info View: The user can view his or her own pay information in the system, as well as the info of their assigned employees.
  • Manage Mass Utilities: The user has access to the Mass Punches/Hours/Absences/Disbursements sections of the Time Card screen.
  • Manage Time Off Requests: The user has access to the Time Off Requests of their assigned employees, as well as "View Only" access to their own requests.

  • Manage Schedule Availability: The user has "View Only" access to their own information, and "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.
  • Manage Shift Swap: The user has "View Only" access to their own information, and "View and Edit" access to their assigned employees.

Sub Category: Schedule Employees

  • Schedule Employees: The user has access to create schedules for the employees assigned to them in the system.

Main Category: Time Card

Sub Category: Work Area

  • Time Card View: The user has access to his or her own Time Card information, as well as the Time Cards of their assigned employees.
  • Enter Absence: The user is allowed to enter absences on the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Enter Disbursement: The user is allowed to enter disbursements on the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Enter Hours: The user is allowed to insert an hours total on the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Enter Punch: The user is allowed to insert punches on the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Allocate Hours: The user is allowed to allocate the hours of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Punch Edit: The user is allowed to edit the punches on the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system.
  • Enter Punch Notes: The user can enter notes with a punch on his or her Time Card.
  • Enter Self Service Punch: The user is allowed to enter punches from the Self Service section of the program.
  • Review Time Card Error: The user is allowed to review and edit errors on the Time Cards of employees that are assigned to them.

Sub Category: Verification

  • Verification Level 1: The user is allowed to verify his or her own Time Card as a "Level 1" verification user.
  • Verification Level 2: The user is allowed to verify the Time Cards of employees assigned to them in the system as a "Level 2" verification user.
  • Department Verification: The user is allowed access to departmental verification.

Main Category: Job Tracking

Sub Category: Manage Job Tracking

  • Manage Jobs: The user is allowed to create and manage the Job Profiles in the system.
  • Manage Tasks: The user is allowed to create and manage the Task Profiles in the system.
  • Manage Equipment: The user is allowed access to manage the Equipment that is used in conjunction with jobs.
  • Manage Materials: The user is allowed access to manage the Material that is used in conjunction with jobs.
  • Manage Customers: The user is allowed to create and maintain the customers that are attached to Job Profiles in the system.
  • Manage Quantities: The user is allowed to manage Quantities in the system.
  • Manage Costing and Estimates: The user is allowed to access the programs "Estimated vs. Actual" functionality by entering estimates and actual costs.

Sub Category: General Job Tracking

  • Job Settings: This permission allows the user access to the Job Settings section of the program.
  • Job Summary: This permission allows the user to view the Job Summary screen.
