Meal & Break Punch Policies
This feature automatically determines the "Break"
or "Lunch" status of the punches on
employee Time Cards based on the hours and/or
minutes between the "OUT" and next "IN"
punch.
While employees must still swipe at the time
clock for their breaks and lunches, this minimizes
the confusion of having to use the <LUNCH>
and <BREAK> keys at the clock keypad.
This feature is compatible with all forms of
punch entry, including direct punches at a physical
clock, Employee Self Service, and Interactive
Voice Response.
