User Security and System Tools

This section of the program allows you to configure the Self Service Users that will be able to log into the TimeForce II system, as well as various other system tools.

  • User Security is where your Self Service Users are created.
  • User Security Roles define the level of access that your Self Service Users have to various areas of the program.
  • Settings allows you to define various settings pertaining to how the program functions.
  • Custom Functionality is used to enable program customizations.
  • Custom Fields allow you to enter your own fields that will appear in Employee Demographics. These fields are for the tracking of any information that is not provided in the system.
  • System Customization allows you to define the available options for various drop-down menus throughout the program.
  • Manage Batches allows you to view and track the punch information that is automatically processed into the program database.
  • Unassigned Punches allows you to view the "unassigned" punches that have been downloaded into the system and assign them to the appropriate employee.
  • External Interface Options allows you to configure how certain external programs interact with TimeForce II.
  • Preferences is the link that appears in the upper right-hand corner of all screens in the TimeForce II system. It allows you to define some general viewing and usage settings.
